ISO 9001 Certification

Setting The Standards In Quality

Peremba Construction Sdn Bhd has officially been certified by Lloyd's register Quality Assurance and is now being registered with UKAS, London for the accreditation of corporate Quality Management System to latest international Standard ISO 9001:2000.

Peremba Construction Sdn Bhd is the first construction company in Malaysia to achieve the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 accreditation through Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

The scope of approval by LRQA is stipulated as:

“Project & Design Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning for Infrastructure, Buildings, Oil & Gas, Water and Waste Water, Power, Mechanical Services, HVAC, Instrumentation, Telecommunication And Fire Control Systems”

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification

Peremba Construction’s steadfast commitment to uphold its quality management system was further boosted when it received the ISO 14001:1996, the prestigious international environmental standard, by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) on 23 February 2004.

The certification was awarded for the Company’s project management, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning for infrastructure, buildings, and water and waste water.

The ISO certification is a landmark achievement for the PECD Group and underlines our commitment to the environment. The fact that Peremba Construction is one of only a few construction companies in the country to be certified to ISO 14001 is bound to enhance our competitive edge especially in light of our internationalization initiatives.

Peremba Jaya Holdings wins Award For Planning Excellence

Precinct 11 Development in Putrajaya, a prestigious project development by Peremba Jaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PJHSB) is a winner of the Planning Excellence Award 2003 by the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP).

The project was unanimously chosen to receive the ‘Urban Planning Achievement in Township Development for Areas Spanning More Than 500 acres’.

Best Contractor Award

Peremba Construction Sdn Bhd was awarded the 'Best Contractor' for the month of June 1999 by the Foster Wheeler (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for their good safety performance during the construction of the CUF/Ammonia Syngas Project in Kertih, Terengganu.
