| The
consortium of PECD Energy and MMC Oil and Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd was awarded a
contract worth RM 133 million from Malaysian Refining Company Sdn Bhd (a joint venture between PETRONAS and Conoco) for
the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of PSR-2 Crude
Storage Tanks for the PETRONAS Second Refinery Phase 2 in
Melaka.
The
scope of the project comprises the design, procurement, construction,
installation and commissioning of two crude storage tanks, including the
construction of all general services engineering works and necessary tie-ins for
the project facilities. The contract was
won amidst a highly competitive bidding environment, indicative of the strong
capabilities and track record of both companies.We are
proud to have been selected to undertake this project. This latest addition to
our portfolio of projects under our Group’s Energy division is an indicator of
our growing reputation in the highly competitive and growing oil and gas sector
in the region. |
