Subject : MONTHLY ANNOUNCEMENT ON PN1/2001 STATUS

In relation to the announcement pursuant to PN1/2001 made by the
Company on 31 December 2007, the Board of Directors of the Company
wishes to update the status of the default in payment of interest
payments for its Serial Fixed Rate Bonds ("SFRB"), in compliance
with Paragraph 3.2 of PN1/2001.
The Company is currently in the process of developing a corporate
and debt restructuring plan, with the assistance of its specialist
advisers. The Company will be advising the SFRB holders and its
other creditors on the proposed plan as soon as possible.
